Marlene’s art has evolved over the years from acrylics and pastels to the soft translucency of watercolour , which has now become her passion to reflect the light , colour and textures of nature.
She has won several awards and prizes on the Central Coast, in the Hunter Valley and in Sydney.

She is an active member of the Central Coast Watercolour Society , the Central Coast Art Society and the Toukley and District Art Society and exhibits her watercolours at local galleries , cafes and exhibitions.
She now teaches beginners’ classes and workshops for local art groups.
